CHOICES builds on and expands CCP's highly successful Opportunities for Postsecondary Success (OPS) Program. Project goals include:
- Increasing postsecondary education enrollment and persistence for students with intellectual disabilities through transition planning and orientation to higher education.
- Provision of increased postsecondary education and employment opportunities, on an annual basis, for 50 plus students with intellectual disabilities.
- Evaluation of grant activities to determine levels of effectiveness in meeting project goals and objectives and to implement program improvements based on evaluation findings.
- Promotion of far-reaching expansion of the CHOICES model and sustainability of project initiatives after grant funding has ended.
